The Trūper 3600 scanner has received high marks from a leading independent test lab. Buyers Laboratories, Inc. (BLI), a business consumer advocate and office equipment tester, named the Trūper 3600 its "Pick of the Year" in the low-volume production scanner category. BLI's "Pick of the Year" award acknowledges the best technology product tested in its category. The lab bases its reviews of scanners on a range of performance areas, including reliability, image processing, ease of use, productivity, file sizes, media handling and value. "We chose the Trūper 3600 as ‘Outstanding Low-Volume Production Scanner’ not only because of its speed, but also because of its excellent reliability and media handling, all for a very competitive price," said Lynn Nannariello, BLI assistant managing editor. BLI called the Trūper 3600 the fastest scanner it has tested to date.

The Rheinner Group is adding a VAR Resource Locator to its techinfocenter.com Web site. Techinfocenter is a free online community with valuable information about technologies, tools and applications for e-business solutions. The Resource Locator will make it easier for the thousands of users who investigate products at techinfocenter to connect with resellers, VARs and integrators for information. BBH has made special arrangements to offer our resellers and integrators an economical way to take advantage of this service. For a small monthly fee, you can create your own Resource Locator listing with any and all information you'd like to post about your business. Furthermore, you have the option of linking your listing directly to BBH's, allowing you to benefit from the exposure generated by BBH. On average, techinfocenter.com sends out 40,000 emails a week to its base of pre-qualified document imaging customers. The Resource Locator, which launches Sept. 1, will be promoted to EDM/ECM buyers via regular emails, allowing them to shop by product, vendor, region or specialization. For more information, call 781-792-3877 to speak with Kathleen Mientkiewicz (kathym@rheinner.com) or Raimund Wasner (r.wasner@rheinner.com).
