SharpShooter CCD Camera Technology

Infinity WF utilizes the exact same camera technology as Spectrum XF, BBH's award winning high-volume production scanner.  The SharpShooter™ camera technology is a proven high performance platform with a large install base.

Infinity WF proves that going faster doesn't mean you have to sacrifice image quality.  The state-of-the-art trilinear camera design - with one line per red, green and blue - ensures images at a finer level of detail in bitonal and grayscale and in more vivid color.

In traditional document scanning, speeds are referred to in terms of pages per minute.  Wide format scanners, however, specify scanning speeds in terms of inches per second (ips).

All models utilize SharpShooter™ camera technology which creates:

• 600 dpi real optical capture with the ability to interpolate up to 1200 dpi
• 22,500 pixel capture per line
• 67,500 total pixel capture with the Infinity WF 36 model
• 90,000 total pixel capture with the Infinity WF 42 and 48 models
