Trūper's smart design allows the scanner to be maintained by the user, virtually eliminating the need for maintenance service calls.

User Utility

All Trūper scanners have a User Utility to track scanner usage and status.  With the User Utility, the scanner operator can track the total number of scans, the software version and cleaning schedule.  This feature extends the scanner life by tracking preventative maintenance activities.  In addition, if there is an issue with the scanner, the User Utility can help you quickly diagnose it.  By providing instant scanner status, the time to resolution for most hardware issues is shortened, keeping your scanner operating at peak capacity.

Lamp

The Trūper scanner uses a Xenon lamp to illuminate the document as it passes through the scanner.  The Xenon lamp is only on when documents are being scanned.  This clever feature enables the lamp to last as long as the scanner, reducing required maintenance activities.

User Replaceable Roller Kits

With easy to change and easy to clean parts, ongoing maintenance can be handled by Trūper users. Trūper's roller kits last an average of 20% longer than many of its competitors.  This reduces the number of service calls required to maintain your scanner’s health. Both the Trūper 3200 and Trūper 3600 models use the same consumable kits, quickly eliminating the need to stock multiple kits for multiple scanners.
