For installations where the Trūper scanner is scanning high resolution photos or other documents, consider purchasing a Memory Upgrade Kit. The Memory Upgrade Kit improves the transfer capability between the scanner and the scanning station. While it does not increase the scanner's speed, it does improve the throughput between the scanner and the scanning station for high resolution scanning. The Memory Upgrade Kit increases the scanner's on board memory by 512k, and works in conjunction with the already installed 64k memory. The memory module is user installable.
