What type of Kofax Adrenaline 650i do I use?
All Böwe Bell + Howell scanners require a Kofax Adrenaline 650i SCSI board to interface the scanner with the PC. Determining what 650i board you have or need depends on the scanner model.
All Spectrum Series models (bitonal and color) ship with a 650i board right in the box, so you don't even have to worry about what type it is. The Spectrum 1 / 2 Series uses two different types of 650i boards, one for the 8080 model (650iMV) and one for the 8100/8125 models (650iHV). All 3 models for the Spectrum XF Series use one 650i. Kofax 650i Adrenaline boards need to be purchased separately and are not included for the 730DC and Sidekick 1200 and 1400 models or the Truper 3200.
