How can a mutlifeed be handled?

The multifeed detector can be set on the scanner to “Stop, Notify, or Ignore” the error.

When the scanner is set to ignore the multifeed detector will not sense all multifeeds. 

 

When the scanner is set to notify, the scanner will beep only when it detects any multifeeds.  But to correct the images, they must be fixed at the application.  

 

When the scanner is set to Stop, the scanner will hold the multifeed pages at the exit rollers.  At this point you have two options 1) by pressing the Multifeed Ignore button on the scanner to turn off the detection for that one page if it detected a sticker or something that needs to be on the scanned image or 2) by pressing the Clear button on the scanner will delete the last scanned image and will let you rescan the pages that multifed correctly.
