Does Windows 2000 support 8000 Spectrum SCSI series scanners?
Windows 2000 is not supplied with the correct SCSI driver for the Kofax 650i SCSI adapter and therefore does not automatically load the required ASPI32.dll.That is why the VRS software must be installed first.In the hardware manager the scanner will be listed with a ? in front on the scanner.That is normal because the scanner uses the driver bundled with the Kofax 650i SCSI card.
