I have a regular 8000 Video Scanner. Can I get an upgrade to VRS?

Yes, provided the scanner is at revision level D8. The upgrade to VRS will come with an upgrade to an 8000 Plus. In addition, it is important to note that the Video Interface cable (which comes with the upgrade) between the Scanner and PC is different for VRS. If the proper cable is not installed, it will not be possible to run the scanner.
