Do I still need two Kofax boards to drive the discontinued 6338 duplex scanner?

No. A single Kofax Adrenaline 1700V accelerator board will support the 6338 at rated speed. Please note that a new scanner "Y" cable (SC-1022-0000) has been created to allow a single Adrenaline 1700V to connect to both front and rear camera connectors on the scanner.
