The BÖWE BELL + HOWELL warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below:
BÖWE BELL + HOWELL warrants this Infinity WF scanner (“Product”) against Warrantable Repair as defined below.
If you discover a Warrantable Repair, BÖWE BELL + HOWELL will, at its option, repair or replace this Product, at no charge to you, provided you register the Product with BÖWE BELL + HOWELL within 30 days of purchase. You can register on-line at www.bbhscanners.com, click “Support.” You can also register by completing and returning the attached warranty response card.
BÖWE BELL + HOWELL will provide on-site warranty service. Response time is 72 hours, within 100 miles of most major metropolitan areas within the contiguous United States and Canada. Beyond this geographical area, warranty service can be scheduled by calling 1-585-781-8616.

This warranty applies only to defects in parts and labor occurring during the applicable Warranty Coverage for any of its original manufacturer parts or components, or hardware manufactured by or for BÖWE BELL + HOWELL which are identified by the “BÖWE BELL + HOWELL” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. This warranty does not apply if the Product has been damaged by accident, abuse, neglect, misuse, or misapplication; if the Product has been modified without the written permission of BÖWE BELL + HOWELL; or if any BÖWE BELL + HOWELL scanner serial number has been removed or modified. Further, this warranty does not apply to consumable parts such as fuses, belts, glass flats, lamps, tires, or to any Product operated in a manner beyond the published Product specifications (“Warrantable Repair”).
THE WARRANTYAND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, WHETHER ORAL, OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. BOWE BELL + HOWELL SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS LIMITATION WILL NOT APPLY TO CLAIMS FOR INJURY TO PERSONS CAUSED BY THE SOLE NEGLIGENCE OF BOWE BELL + HOWELL OR OF PERSONS UNDER ITS DIRECTION OR CONTROL. No Bowe Bell + Howell distributor, OEM, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.
BÖWE BELL + HOWELL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL, DAMAGE OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY AND ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH BÖWE BELL + HOWELL PRODUCTS. BÖWE BELL + HOWELL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO A CUSTOMER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY FORM OR NATURE OR DESCRIPTION WHATSOEVER WHICH MAY BE INCURRED IF SUCH ELECTRONIC MEMORIES, FIRMWARE, SOFTWARE OR OTHER DEVICES SHOULD BE INJURED OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY, OR IF ANY SUCH DATA IS LOST, RENDERED INACCURATE, OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ANY SUCH LOSS, INACCURACY OR DAMAGE.
