Windows Vista Sidekick Install

The drivers for Windows Vista are not yet fully tested. However, this workaround may work. It only works for TWAIN and ISIS drivers, USB connectivity mode.

 

In Windows Vista, using the XP SP2 compatibility mode.

 

From Vista RUN type in: “mshta.exeres://acprgwiz.dll/compatmode.hta”

This should start the compatibility mode wizard. Follow the prompts.

 

For more information:

  1. Click on Start, Help and Support
  2. Type in "compatibility mode"
  3. Click on "Start the Program Compatibility Wizard"from the results returned back

 

Make sure you have these files, out of the minidriver folder on our install CD, in a folder in the Windows Vista PC

c:\

  • BBHScan.inf
  • BHScScsi.dll
  • BHScUsb.dll
