Error: Vertical Line Down A Scanned Image

If there is a vertical line down a scanned image when there is no line on the original document, paper dust may have collected on the CCD or CIS. Having paper dust collect on or near the CCD or CIS can cause a line to appear on the digitized image. To remove this line, you will need to clean the rollers and the lens. You may also use compressed air to blow away any loose particulars such as paper shavings or paper dust.
