Answer: During the installation process, it is important that the scanning station be connected to the Internet.  After the VRS has been installed, VRS will ask that an activation code be entered, or to connect to the VRS activation servers over the internet to automatically receive the activation code.

You can run VRS on the Trūper 3200 model for 30 days without activation.  After 30 days, a stamp will be placed on every scan until VRS is activated.
