Overview
Spectrum XF Training Course

Included in the cost of this class, students will receive Operator, Service and Parts manuals and special tools needed to service the Spectrum XF scanners.  A quiz will be given at the end of class; the results of which will be sent to the student within 48 hours.  A passing grade is required for certification to service Spectrum XF scanners.

This training class introduces the Spectrum XF and its available options, including new technology, components, necessary service requirements and a comprehensive overview of the scanner's new features.  Also addressed is the installation of VirtualRescan™ (VRS) 4.0 and 4.1 and the new functionality associated with each version.

A prerequisite for enrollment is the completion of the Copiscan 8000 Spectrum training class in either 2004 or 2005 in order to facilitate an understanding of the scanners' theory of operation. 

NOTE: The above-mentioned class is taught to a field engineer level.

1.5 - Day Training Class ($1,000 per student).  The hours are as follows:

• Day 1 - 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Day 2 - 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Note:  Payment is required 10 - days prior to the start of class.  Participants arriving for class without payment, will unfortunately be denied training.

It is understood and agreed that the following restrictions apply:

1. You agree to treat the Spectrum XF Service Manual, Parts Manual, Bulletin Board and all other documentation and information you receive during training as confidential and restrict its use solely for maintaining the Böwe Bell + Howell equipment.
2. You will not make copies for external use, of any Service Manual, Parts Catalog or Technical Literature.
3. Any damage or injury caused by maintenance, repair or modification work performed by non-Böwe Bell + Howell servicing personnel will be your responsibility.
4. The document you are now signing is a one-time, non-transferable licensing agreement; the cost of this agreement is included in the price for Spectrum XF Service Training.
5. Böwe Bell + Howell Scanners makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the manual and assumes no responsibility for updating the same.
6. You agree to indemnify and hold Böwe Bell + Howell scanners harmless from any claims for damage or injury caused by your use of the manual or use with products not approved for such use by Böwe Bell + Howell Company.
