Overview
Trūper Service Course
Included in the cost of this two-day class, students will receive Operator, Service and Parts manuals, and special tools needed to operate and service the Truper line of scanners. This class covers the Truper 3200 and Truper 3600 scanners and their available options including VirtualReScan™ (VRS), and SCSI and USB interfaces. In addition, this comprehensive training course includes an in-depth theory of operation, plenty of hands-on time for the assembly and disassembly of scanner components along with a maintenance and troubleshooting portion. This course is recommended for field engineers servicing scanners and their related products.
NOTE: The above-mentioned class is taught to a field engineer level.
Service Training Application

2 - Day Training Class ($1,500 per student).
The hours are as follows:
- Day 1: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Day 2: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Note: Payment is required 10 - days prior to the start of class. Participants arriving for class without payment will unfortunately be denied training.
It is understood and agreed that the following restrictions apply:
- You agree to treat the Trūper 3200 & 3600 Service Manuals, Parts Catalogs, Bulletin Board and all other documentation and information you receive during training as confidential and restrict its use solely for maintaining the Böwe Bell + Howell equipment.
- You will not make copies for external use, of any Manual, CD or Technical Literature.
- Any damage or injury caused by maintenance, repair or modification work performed by non-Böwe Bell + Howell servicing personnel will be your responsibility.
- The document you are now signing is a one-time, non-transferable licensing agreement; the cost of this agreement is included in the price for the Trūper Service Training.
- Böwe Bell + Howell Scanners makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the manual and assumes no responsibility for updating the same.
- You agree to indemnify and hold Böwe Bell + Howell scanners harmless from any claims for damage or injury caused by your use of the manual or use with products not approved for such use by Böwe Bell + Howell Company.
